Various Artists ‎– "Axis Sally" (Broken Flag ‎– BF8) 1983

Axis Sally, for those who didn't know (Or care?),which is most everybody; was the female version of Lord Haw Haw on the Nazi English language propaganda service during world war two.......and you thought this might be a Broken Flag release without any reference to right wing politics in Germany.......well, you were wrong.
Then we look at the track list and see that every track has some reference at least to Nazi's or right wing twits like Senator Joe McCarthy.
Axis Sally, like Lord Haw Haw ,was American......ahh the 'special relationship' between Britain and the USA  rears its non-existent head once more. But at least we (the Brits) got to hang Lord Haw Haw, whereas Axis Sally escaped the Gallows, as many other 'top' Nazis did thanks to a concept of American Justice that has now disappeared.
All this Nazi, Murderer, Sadism stuff ,is designed to confront ourselves with the part of ourselves we would rather not admit to;and to a certain extent it works.Sadly Like when Donald Trump said "You won't find anyone less Racist than me",few people are comfortable at being confronted by this side to their character.
However, these tapes are preaching to the converted, and I doubt Trump and his dim-witted followers would be interested in listening to banks of squealing synths and barked distorted couplets about Nazis....Trump supporters think they aren't Nazis,so this would put them off immediately. Put all this stuff over a country and Western track instead of skin blistering noise, then they may pay attention.....as long as its in short bursts like TV ads,as they have the attention spans of goldfish with Alzheimers.

The last Sacher-Pelz tape before Bianchi retreated behind his initials, reveals his penchants for mucking about with his record player. This sounds like a scratched LP stuck in a lockgroove, a la Boyd Rice's Pagan Musick stylee. Lots of speeding up,slowing down,and running the grooves backwards with the claustrophobic sibilant qualities of cheap ferric oxide, akin to a wobbly Jacuzzi of fucked up found sound.

Sacher-Pelz ‎– "Cainus" (Marquis Tapes ‎– MART 001) 1979

Cainus?....can only think this is a biblical reference to Adam and Eve's son Cain? Who was such a naughty boy that he was exiled to the 'Land of Nod' by none-other  than 'God' himself,after murdering his brother Abel. Leaving no other male contributor to the gene pool in Eden than Adam.
Whoopeee, does this mean I can go bible bashing again!?...OK here goes.......
The fact that there was a rival land,apparently populated by rival humans as well(?), to the garden of Eden on early biblical Earth, which some dumbass cleric (Archbishop Ussher?) worked out was created on....wait for it..... Sunday 23rd of October 4004 BC at 2pm in the afternoon!!!?.....means that there were already plenty of lifeforms around before God bothered to plonk Adam, alone, in a garden.At what point he did this deed after the six days he took to make the Earth,or was it the universe(?), isn't clear.
Ahhhh,but lickle Adam was lonely. So God ripped out one of Adam's Ribs and carved it into 'Woman' and they were straight at it and had two kids.....Cain and Abel........believable yes?.......millions of so-called intelligent Humans base their entire lives on every punctuation mark that appears in this medieval English literature classic.....although nowadays its wouldn't find a publisher purely for the hundreds of bizarre continuity errors that are strewn carelessly throughout this over lengthy tome. It makes 'Naked Lunch' seem logical in comparison,and probably a more valid and moral religious guidebook too!?
So Cain was exiled to the Land of Nod, which was(don't know why i'm referring to this stuff as 'facts'?)  east of Eden,and beyond  God's influence!!!!???.....this is getting better!?.......Cain was accompanied by his wife!!!!!????....so there were other women in Eden too, who apparently were not related to mankinds primary parents? And what was 'west' of Eden I'd like to know? And who created the people of Nod if God had no influence there? Did Cain need a visa? 
I'm so full of questions aren't I?.....unlike our religious buddies who accept any old nonsense as much as we(Atheists/Agnostics) all accept 'Alternative Facts'on Facebook as the literal undeniable truth.

I'm sure you know what the music sounds like on this cassette? That's right the same as in all the other hundred plus releases that M.Bianchi has shitted out since 1979. Good shit though.

So.

Now we've established that Bianchi made these recordings in his bedroom at his parents house,and that his mother dressed him.One wonders if she ever listened in to what her spoiled child was doing with his cassette recorders? And what would she have said if she had a snidey look at his track titles while he was out looking for friends? 

Almost certainly it would have been a 'Catholic' household,which would explain the borderline Nazi imagery he over-used on later releases; so even the notion of kissing open-mouthed outside of wedlock would have caused major consternation in the Bianchi household.He's a VERY naughty boy indeed!Which i'm sure his new scantily clad friends at the local massage parlour told him regularly between beatings.....probably delivered both ways.

So, I've been informed,he is now a full-time Jehovah's Witness,which also figures because Hitler had a weird respect for this cult, and the way they settled in enthusiastically to their roles as prisoners in the extermination/concentration camps during those jolly old final solution years.No fuss was given, as its all in God's secret plan.......of course it never occurred to them that their skewed interpretation of some tenuous instructions from an invisible and inaudible deity might possibly have been wrong?.....oh no!?

As for Venus,the goddess of 'Love'? Being Roman she would have been well up for the most perverted and sickening forms of sexual expression ever thought up in the cruel mind of man. Therefore, Venus is a very appropriate deity for the common themes of Industrial music ,even if it is made in the bedroom of an adult child.

At first I thought the title was another stab at Genesis P-Orridge because 'Venus' rhymes with 'Penis', which the great GP-O obviously is.It could also apply to Gene Pitney* too,but he's dead, so leave him alone.

Ahhhh...'The Music'??? Forgot about that!

Well,it sounds like Test Department playing in The Titanic after it sank(Which wouldn't be a bad idea?).A sound quality I am very fond of.

Sacher-Pelz ‎– "Cease To Exist" (Marquis Tapes ‎– MART 003) 1979

Maurizio Bianchi, called himself Sacher-Pelz before transforming himself into the search engine nightmare that is 'MB'.

The title of this cassette suggests a liking for a bit of Throbbing Gristle,and the music suggests a distinct Boyd Rice and 'NON' influence.So expect some harshly manicured noise,terminally repetitive loops, and some attention span testing turntable abuse. All aimed to remind us all of how 'decadent' we are by making us listen to our favorite machines screaming for help....yeah, its all so clear to me now,thanks Maurizio for saving me. He must have been bullied at school.

30minutes of hearing your cassette tape of 'The Forbidden Planet' Soundtrack being chewed up by the tape machine heads. Followed by another 30 minutes of listening to your vintage Fax machine receiving the worlds longest Fax.
A full and robust realisation of Bianchi's concept of, and I quote..."(to)produce technological sounds to work for a full awareness of modern decadence".
How decadant is that?
This is why he dresses like an off duty Postman posing for the menswear section in Kays Catalogue. It could be worse, he might have posed for the underwear section!

Mmmmmm,thats nice.....I'll take three pairs of those casual slacks please....... Trendy Italiano Bianchi relaxing after a hard mornings tape abuse........sometimes he works for half an hour, and then,sometimes, another half an hour......its a hard life being an artist y'know!

Maurizio Bianchi (M.B.) - "Fetish Tape" (Self-Released Cassette) 1980

If there's one subject Industrial musicians like almost as much as Nazi's, it's Fetishes; the more perverted the better.
There's not much on offer on this C-60 to suggest anything sexual,unless drowning in a depth charged U-Boat is a popular pervy pastime? Although you can only do that once, so I doubt it counts as a 'Fetish' as such; but I wager there will be at least one creepy perv lurking in a PVC 'peek-a-boo' bra,crotchless panties and bollock-weight, wanking off about a fantasy such as this!?
Indeed, Side A, is like a recording from the inside of a Nazi Submarine hiding from the Royal Navy,and sinking after being pounded by some very accurate ordnance.
Side B, is somewhat less listenable.Similar to the valve frying sound of the salvaged radio from that very same U-Boat of Side A. Coughing and spluttering back into a malfunctioning existence,picking up only the interference between stations,then feeding it back through a cheapo distortion pedal.

Maurizio Bianchi (M.B.) ‎– "Gene P" (Maurizio Bianchi Self-released) 1980

Staying in the dodgy hinterland that is old school Italian noise ,we present more self-released cassettes from the Il Duce of the Industrial Pizza, Maurizio Bianchi, also known as" M.B."(Get more of his many tapes HERE!)

Knowing Maurizio's many flirtations with Fascistic themes and imagery;the Gene P he is referring to in the title is more likely to be something to do with Eugenics rather than a thinly veiled tribute to Gene Pitney.

Side A sounds uncannily like a version of "24 Hours From Tulsa" fed to a concrete mixer full of old tin cans and redundant church bells, before being pulverised into some weird metallic hardcore for one of Mussolini's autostrade.

Side B is a badly mutilated copy of "Somethings Gotten Hold Of My Heart" played by an angle grinder on a stormy hilltop.

Should empty a room of Gene Pitney fans in less than twenty seconds......yep, it's that good.

More on our theme celebrating this new age of the Politics of Hate. Another jolly compilation from an enlightened era in comparison to the dawning of this New Dark Age on planet Earth. The inhabitants of which seem to make the same mistakes again and again. Some 'Brexiter'(part of the same 'popular' uprising as Trump) suggested that I learn some history(whatever he meant by that???), but these narrow minded proletarians seem to be doomed to repeat it......and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

So here we have some charming popular themes that were regularly showcased in the recent US election and that absurd Brexit referenDUM; like Sexism, Racism, Sexual Assault, Racial violence, political violence, McCarthyism,Big lies,stupidity,and, oh yeah...stupidity.

Except these themes as used by the artists involved here are meant not only to shock, but also entice critical thought about racism and bigotry.

Those involved in the political nonsense that has let loose the caged monster of intolerance,have no such noble objectives....they actually fucking mean it!!?.....now that is Shocking!

Leibstandarte SS MB ‎– "Triumph Of The Will" (Come Organisation ‎– WDC 881015) 1981

A fuzzy rumbling noise fest wasn't attention seeking enough for William Bennett,he of Essential Logic, Whitehouse and the Come Organisation. So why not overdub a load of speeches by the higher echelons of the National Socialist and German Workers Party? The logic was essentially to create notoriety, but creatively a pretty uninspiring recipe.
 MB (Maurizio Bianchi) had delivered two of his usual noisy symphonies for  Come Org to release; but Bennett decided to firstly overdub speeches by Goebbels and uncle Adolf,and then add Leibstandarte SS to MB's name. Which I understand was Hitlers personal SS bodyguard unit. This kind of thing could muddy one's reputation!  Largely, it has been seen basically as a bad publicity stunt,and has gone to reside in the bad taste draw. 
Personally, I would have preferred the noise to have been mixed higher and the speeches a lot lower....in fact not there at all. I never play this record ,because it just sounds like a record of Nazi Speeches,rather than Industrial noise. A bit of a half-arsed hatchet job if you ask me.

Side one is a microphone without a windshield taped to a tree in a force ten gale.....with echo.
Side two is a pneumatic drill hammering away at the inside of a metal water tank,in a force ten gale.....er.....with echo.
Basically, two more noise-scapes that wouldn't be out of place in a brain washing facility at the re-education center.There's one near you.

The Godfather of Italian Industrial is ,of course Maurizio Bianchi, better known as MB. A master of the dysfunctional fuzzy glitch on a grand scale. His compositions remind one of a system on the verge of breaking down irreversibly.Never has there been a time since WW2 that this music has been more appropriate.Play this tape while this metaphorical Rome is burning.MB was there at the start of something,but his compositions sound like the end of something else.The final word in Industrial noise-scapes.

Firstly, even though I don't have to explain myself; I am not(!) a fucking Nazi!!!! (Yawny Yawn Yawwwwwn!) As most cheapo satellite stations will testify, Nazi's sell advertising space, to other Nazi's, of the corporative kind. There's nothing that drags in the audience better than a couple of Swastika's pasted ici et la bas! Without Nazi's we wouldn't have anything to watch on TV;not to mention, Metadone, Crystal Meth, Rockets, Hugo Boss, MK Ultra,Nerve Gas,and the Nazi Disneyland of Auchwitz. But, more important than all of that; all the acts on labels like Broken Flag, Iphar, and Come Organisation, wouldn't have anything to sing about, or put on their record covers. Another thing that a starkly displayed Swastika will also guarantee is a large number of hits for this blog, and some Twat(!) complaining that your blog author is either a Fascist, or a Racist,or both! Even though it may not occur to them that Fascism does not necessarily mean Racism. It is usually those who are guilty of haboring these secret beliefs, the finger pointers, who are the Racist Nazi persons. So, don't bother boring me with your predictable 'right on I am' comments,and look in the mirror. Identify that inner Racist/Nazi before deflecting it onto easy targets. Then you can probably try and cure yourself of these ills.(all comments of this type will be deleted anyway......call it censorship if you will?) As for this excellently offensive cassette, I am always hoping that the flirtation with right wing extremism is just an artistic tool designed for us to confront the darker side of the human condition. This hope is severely tested by the likes of M.B., who is almost definitely a proud Fascist, and Philip Best(Consumer Electronics/Ramleh) looks like he could easily be in the Swingers section of the English Defence League. That said, this compilation, is an exhilarating roller-coaster ride through the best of  extreme Industrial Power Electronics of 1983; a vintage year for such ear bleeding delights. If you're offended by this, then you shouldn't be listening to it, or go and join the fucking Tory/Labour Party or its equivalent, with the rest of the puppets.

On the day the millionaire intellectual giants of the England And German football teams tour Auschwitz watched by the worlds media. I thought it fitting to post the 1980's Industrial noise classic 'Symphony for a Genocide'.
Knowing the brain power of some of the England team, they probably think 'Snooker loopy' by Chas and Dave is about genocide!?......(in case Wayne Rooney is reading this; genocide is when some naughty men systematically kill lots and lots of people.)
It's even doubtful that these overpaid, self-important dumb-asses have even heard of World War Two,and think that Hitler was a fictional character from them DVD films; a bit like Blofeld from James Bond, who they think are real historical figures!
We could really do with the French team going as well, as France seems to have a real bad case of Holocaust denial, and a shit load of complicity issues to deal with.

 Altogether a sonically accurate portrayal of industrialised mass murder, totally lacking in the sentimentality and emotional pornography that usually accompanies the subject.

If you've ever worked in a Factory, and I never have, this is what it theoretically sounds like. Like that moment when you've just sliced your pinky finger off on the meat packing machine, and you slowly fall to the concrete.Semi-consciously the evil concoction of slavery and consumer greed mixes with the funkless rhythm of the pie machine;as  fed through the works tannoy, to create an horrific symphony of droning torture.
What have we done to ourselves? Slaves of freedom,or freedom to be slaves. Just say NO!...or better still just say FUCK OFF!
We also oppose all dogmatic verbal systems!

A Spanish release of an earlier self-released cassette from 1980.
Sounding like an approaching doomsday machine, crushing your nuclear bunker, then wiping your brain with its unstoppable sonic weaponry. Parts sound like a ZX spectrum programme or pogrom, fed through a fucked up distortion pedal. This is the sound of a failing society, which I suspect is exactly the image that M.B. wants to project. The answer to which is inevitably something dodgy and right wing. But who wants answers????...I fucking don't !!...if a society is failing, let it fail. This is natural law is it not?
The answer to life ,the universe and everything is.....There is NO answer.......it just IS!
Put that piece of cod philosophy in yer proverbial pipe and choke on it!
And oh, by the way....this is a great fucking Tape!

Bianchi recreates the demolition of a Nuclear Power plant in Electronic sound. The failing Hum of generators serenaded by the pulse of pneumatic jackhammers echoing through the crumbling chambers of Chernobyl's reactor B.Encase this C-60 in concrete and it'll drill its own way out to freedom to spread its healing radiation in your direction.
Music for technophobes and Luddites alike.
(Released on the Belgian Grafika Airlines Label in 1981.)

M.B. ( Maurizio Bianchi ) - " I.B.M. " - (Murder Release Cassette MR12) 1982

Probably the MB tape I've played the most. A melange of knob twiddled burbling synthesiers, and oscillators that sound like they've been cross bred with a hand wound 78 player. This is the kind of noise you can listen to, without those awful ear piercing squeals; relying on the softer bubbly electronic noises which sit comfortably in the mid-range.If you have tinnitus , like I do after years of noise abuse, then this will be extremely welcome.
A very listenable electronic soup.
(And of course we all know that I.B.M. supplied the Nazi's with office machines that made the solving of the Final Solution more efficient. America's unpunished I.G.Farben. Close the fuckers down)
