Throbbing Gristle - "Industrial records Studio,Teac 8-track recording,18/03/1979" (Bootleg)

This recording from March 18th 1979 was essentially what became "CD1",released by Mute in 1986.Except, that this is a superior version, with less production values, basically a raw mix done on the day of the recording session.
It's kind of a "Heathern Earth" from 1979,but without the invited audience of TG brown nosers, and not much in the way of vocals. All mixed in the melee  are parts of other TG tunes, mostly Carter's sequencer bits from the more popular tracks. And lots of Gristliser,as featured on the artwork 'wot I did'.
The files were provided by that man Stephen Surreal again!
  • Bass Guitar, Vocals, Violin, Effects [Gristliser] – Genesis P-Orridge
  • Guitar, Cornet, Effects [Gristliser] – Cosey Fanni Tutti
  • Synth, Drum Programming [Rhythms], Tape [Tapes] – Chris Carter (2)
  • Tape [Tapes], Cornet, Computer – Peter Christopherson
Tracks:

1 - Untitled. (42:11)

Chris And Cosey ‎– "Trance" (Rough Trade ‎– ROUGH 44) 1982

Basically an album of the electronic backing tracks that adorned Throbbing Gristle releases , but without that vital performance aspect, now commonly referred to as the 'X' factor by a certain smug showbiz impresario.
Very attractive are the vintage analogue sounds, but its all rather like a bunch of half finished pop songs, waiting for some vocals.
Ironically, of all the TG offshoots, its this pair that seem to have an enduring place in the musical landscape of 2014; now thought of as Minimal Wave pioneers!? Which of course they were, but "...these people are (not) the wreckers of civilization!"....to paraphrase illuminati puppet MP Sir Nicholas Fairbairn. He would be very pleased to hear this record, and earlier, superior, effort "Heartbeat".

Cosey Fanni Tutti - "Time To Tell" (Flowmotion) 1983

Whoe!...steady on boys......this is "ART",and definitely NOT the exploitation of female sexuality!

A Special release on the Flowmotion label.
A one-sided C60 with a newspaper magazine featuring articles, readings and interviews on Cosey Fanni Tutti, Throbbing Gristle and CTI.
Cosey's first solo release, a foray into early dark ambient territory, with sultry spoken word passages.Good for flotation tank dwellers.
And as normal with Industrial genre releases, there's plenty of multi-media content to entertain.Especially lovely is the full length shot of the Industrial Queen herself, bedecked only in a pair of wedgey sandals.
This is far more wholesome soft-porn than the relentless Sexual Propaganda we see today from the likes of Miley Cyrus and Rihanna; or should I say the shape-shifting reptilian hybrid psychopaths behind them. Brain washing our children to be lazy sex obsessed obese morons directly attached to a Sony PS3 or X-Box by the cerebral cortex.
The soft porn here is more likely a statement of these facts, and also that a woman can retain her sensuality and be clever?
It also doesn't harm the sales figures either, but hopefully that is a byproduct.
Basically it satirizes the exploitation of both men and women by the media.
