This Heat - "Live In Hamburg 08/04/1982"

Recorded Live in Hamburg, the cradle of The Beatles, and therefore ,of modern music, on the 8th of April 1982. Also a place that my late father was partly responsible for bombing flat in WW2.Again,like Krefeld,us Brits sent This Heat(and the Beatles)to make it all better again. Hopefully not mistaking the groups name as a reference to the devastating fire storm that swept through the streets after the thousand bomber raid of 1943?
Here we get two of the great lost This Heat tunes,'Greenfingers' and 'Working Night', having an outing. Later resurrected by Haywards' post Heat group, Camberwell Now, they give an interesting insight to what the third This Heat album would have sounded like. A melodic improv prog of a most pleasurable variety, and probably the first Post rock tunes,by the First Post-Rock Band?
Track Listing:

01 Greenfingers
02 SPQR
03 Working Night
04 Makeshift Swahili
05 Twilight Furniture
06 Music Like Escaping Gas
07 A New Kind Of Water
08 Cenotaph
