Ornette Coleman – "Dancing In Your Head" (Horizon – SP-722) 1977

Most dance music feels like having a herd of migrating Wildebeest dancing ON your head. The stuff inside is conveniently forgotten.
If you liked "Body Meta" then you'll like this one too,and so will your brain. A classic slice of free no-wave Ornette magic.

Tracklist:

A Theme From A Symphony (Variation One) 15:38
B1 Theme From A Symphony (Variation Two) 11:05
B2 Midnight Sunrise 4:28

here's a something that probably only you can hunt down.....the trumpet player on ayler's "witches and devils" aka "spirits" is a grrrrreat trumpeter, Norman Howard. A cd was released of his music with 8 songs called "burn baby burn"........BUT there is rumored to be a 12 song cassette-only version somewhere OUT THERE....anyone who's heard the trumpet playing on the song witches and devils, understands, that this cassette must be found...somehow...probably only by you! Whttya think? as always, thanks for the posts and blog......i've discovered too much towering stuff here to mention....
