Oooooh Controversial!I do like a bad taste album title I do. Anything from the Never Mind The Bollox school of potential litigation,such as Flux Of Pink Indians' "The Fucking Cunts Treat Us Like Pricks" and the whole general area of being offensive for the sake of it and stuff.

Yeah Catholic Priests fuck kids, but they do get the rough end of the stick in shouldering the majority of the blame,Basically anyone,mostly male, in a position of responsibility involving children should be under surveillance 24-7.....or maybe 24-6,it is the Holy Day after all,give the kids and the priests the day off from all that unadulterated shagging. No sucking cocks on a Sunday said Moses as he descended the mountain hiding an erection.We'll leave that for the Jews and Muslims on Saturday.But of course, for us Secularists, Saturday is a traditional Holy day also, as its the pre-Sky TV window of opportunity to attend the Football match,sandwiched between visits to the Public House. Then cometh the middle to upper classes demographic who stole the working man's only means to entertain themselves before the Rock'n'Roll years popped up, leaving the Peasants with nothing else to do but a bit of saturday sodomy with the kids. Football has a lot to answer for,especially in failing to point out the many cases of sexual abuse perpetrated by football caches that have surfaced over the years.

So, nah all Priests ain't pedophiles,just most of them.

Breath deeply and relax to the mellow fuzzy Industrial Ambient noise and questionable politics of the Grey Wolves and feel grateful that you were never born into a Catholic household,and as a result of this good fortune were never fucked up,or Fucked up the Arse!....although knowing you lot,this is likely an attractive proposition.

Well, i've never been more insulted in my life!?...these chaps seem to think Nazi's are great blokes, shocking. I've a good mind to phone the bizzies * (*a collective scouse noun for the police in Liverpool". The one man Power Electronics band, Con-Dom, used to grope female members of the ,admittedly very small, audience....until attitudes on such behaviour changed in recent years. His act would now result in serious jail time for sexual assault,all in the name of Shock Value......but that's Rock'n'Roll innit?

Most of the acts on this patience testing double C-60, spend most of their time being Whitehouse for five minutes or so,with seemingly very little interest in doing otherwise; ironic as William Bennett (the bloke in Whitehouse) himself has very little time for a few of the acts/bands featured on this exceedingly nasty compilation.

What my mother must have thought when she brought a cup of Tea up to my bedroom in the early 80's I'll never know. She seemed oblivious to the 'orrible racket emanating from these tapes,and other similar recordings of the time.Not as shocking as one may think.Similarly, my father seemed equally disinterested in the scraping and rumbling upstairs,even when one of Hitlers speeches blasted out of the noise and echoed down the street. No-one else seemed to give a Fuck either.....and y'know what I think they were right.

In the desperate struggle to achieve shock value ,the creators of this non-musicianly cacophony forgot one thing,'avoid being boring'.

I'm desensitized to noise in general,so for me,a subtle splash of melody here and there could only add to the Horror,like in a John Carpenter film......admittedly there are a couple of tracks which do have these qualities on here,but another thirty or so that certainly do not.

Don't let this put you off if you haven't yet been numbed to shock values.....exposure to such oscilloscope breaking phenomena is essential if you want to advance oneself in the subtler arts of music,and put the Roland space-echo and Hitlers' Speeches LP out to pasture.

Yeah,that's Right, I Like this tape.....a-lot.

I just wanna hear something I haven't heard before.

Some more dark industrial ambient, with a healthy splash of power electronics, from Grey Wolves stalwarts Trevor Ward and David Padbury. 
Their second release on Al Margolis' prolific Sound Of Pig label.
Its standard Zoviet France/ Lustmord style Dark and fuzzy Ambient gloom, but naturally, not as good as either of those two originators of this brand of Industrial music.Its like being lost in the smog around the Industrial zone near where Mary's parents live in Eraserhead.

Nails Øv Christ ‎– "Dark Night Of The Soul" (Sound Of Pig ‎– SOP 20) 1985

From the dark satanic mills of Amesbury in Wiltshire, who's principle point of interest is that its slap bang next to Stonehenge.
This rural idyll is hardly the place you'd expect a dark Industrial ambient recording artist to produce his work. With its rolling countryside, picturesque cottages, and ancient monuments. Should be called something like Agricultural Noir or Dark Rural; but, I suppose, going by the name of this project, the main emphasis is on the unknown,and imagined, forces of nature and the supernatural. What better place to be to tune into these ley lines of dark energy, than that amplified by the edifices of that Victorian creation, Stonehenge or,......i'm trying desperately not to make any Spinal Tap references here......Stone 'enge......(whoops!).
Trevor, makes much more power electronic flavoured stuff with The Grey Wolves, where standard Industrial subject matter forces its way back to the fore (eg Nazi's,Racism, Nazi's and more Nazi's).
Where the fingernails of Christ are dragged down a blackboard and amplified.
This dark Ambient side of the great Trevor is a much more interesting experience.

Con-Dom / Nails Of Christ With AMK ‎– "Have Faith" (Broken Flag ‎– BF 63) 1987

Con-Dom and friends (if he has any friends that is?) from The Grey Wolves, and American Industrialist AMK, with a shared outing on Broken Flag.
The Familiar themes of religious faith as a mental illness are explored here in extreme lo-fidelity.
The Con-Dom tracks are the vicious power electronic sensual assaults, and Grey Wolves main man Trevor ward (they have such ordinary names don't they?) as Nails Ov Christ, handles the more ambient Industrial side of this merry occasion.
An ideal tape to purge yourself of that awful Christmas and new year depression with a bit of aural violence,and the sound of someone having a crapper time than you did.

Nails Ov Christ are the more dark ambient noise sideline from Trevor Ward of The Grey Wolves. Quite a lot more emphasis on atmosphere rather than the Heavy Industrial violence of his other combo. Sounds of approaching subway trains echo along long tunnel networks,mixed in with the underwater screams of people throwing themselves on the tracks. Jolly stuff,perfect for ridding your house of unwanted guests.

The Grey Wolves – "The Chaos Ov Creation" (Strength Through Awareness) 1988

The above insert explains much of what is happening ,non-musically speaking, on this C-60. Much window scraping, steel factory ambiance, nails down blackboard goings on for side A; and plenty of dark rumblings in a derelict death camp church on side B. They may not be the most original Industrial band going, but The Grey Wolves certainly have their qualitative and quantitative strengths. Always interesting, and have stuck firmly to their principles. Always confrontational, and not afraid to explore forbidden taboo's. Exactly what an Industrial culture band should be doing,and they are still doing it to this day.

The Grey Wolves ‎– "Red Terror Black Terror" (Strength Through Awareness) 1988

If it ain't W.S.Burroughs, it's some Nazi,or,as in this case, it's the Reverend Jim Jones; gobbing off and creating an uncomfortable vibe; kind of a verbal bed wetting. That's what kicks off this tumble dryer of cut and paste, cacophonous collage. Industrial Noise by numbers, as we get the usual TV dialogue cut ups, mixed with distorted electronics,with underlying themes of violence and general hopelessness. Which is ironic, because that's the very feelings i experience when I listen to "chart music",such as the lamentable One Direction, or the Laughable Professor Green. I suspect there isn't a single one of the infinite dimensions that has a chart with The Grey wolves in it; but according to the infinite Monkeys scenario, there has to be an alternate universe where every record ever released has been number one! Its just our fucking bad luck that we are stuck in one where the charts are dominated by such brain dead bullshit as The Wanted and their accessories to crimes against humanity. When I was a Teenager I had records by a band called The Unwanted; both groups have either very appropriate names or very ironic, or both.(exhale)!

The Grey Wolves – "Judgement" (Order Ov Wolves) 1986

Another exercise in  sidelong 'orrible fucked up noise. Side A shows no restraint,and is a mixture of bad trip LSD and a forced labour industrial complex in some forgotten, long poisoned landscape. Sort of like Chernobyl crossed with Apocalypse Now. A rather marvellous creation. Side B, is the weaker of the two; but if you like listening to various boiling kettles shooting their steam through a bank of cheap distortion pedals, then this is definitely for you. Enjoy?

The Grey Wolves - "No New Jerusalem" (Zeal SS) 1986

Oh dear, here we go again! For those of us who don't know, Grey Wolf, was the code name for a certain Herr A. Hitler. We are again treading familiar Power Electronics ground with a plethora of references alluding to the Third Reich. Not so much Grey Wolf, as a Grey Area, concerning the ambiguous message involved with this genre. Are they Nazi Sympathisers, Ghoulish Obsessives, Nihilist shock rockers, or just provoking a reaction by confronting us with ourselves? Who gives a Fuck? Musically, you can also guess what they sound like. Ear piercing squealing electronic noise fuzz, processed unhinged vocals, and obscure tape recordings of probably someone with right wing connections(I did recognise the Reverend Jim Jones reciting his awe inspiring final speech from Jonestown, cropping up amongst the noise fog). This sounds like it was recorded in a indoor public swimming pool,every VU meter well in the red zone, with the band submerged in the deep end like a sinking U-boat dodging depth charges. Basically great stuff!
