The late Bryn Jones recorded as E.G. Oblique Graph before he became his more famed and prolific alter-ego, Muslimgauze.
The music is more synth industrial minimalism, and less percussive than his later work, more in line with the industrial standards of 1982. A more empty sounding version of Cabaret Voltaire.
The pro-islamist politics that plagued the back catalogue of Muslimgauze is less obvious here, except for the Algeria reference in the title of "Murders Linked To Gaullist Clique".
Not his best recording, but still interesting to fans of minimal wave industrialism.
Released in 1982 on Jones' own Kinematograph label.
