Bourbonese Qualk - "The Spike" (Dossier Records ST 7504) 1985

Often over looked in the industrial shoebox , the excellent Bourbonese Qualk, are like all the good bits of 23 Skidoo and 400 Blows merged into one blast of sonick terrorist funk.
This German release finds the boys at their very best Industrial Disko mode. 'Shutdown' being the greatest 23 Skidoo track that never was.
Recorded during 1985 while the group were involved in organising the Berlin Atonal festival.
Side B taken from the score of a Recloose dance performance at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London 31.1.-2.2.1985
