Port Said ‎– "Through Veils" (Self-Released Cassette) 1982

Stefan Tischler, as featured on the Tara Cross collaboration, "Searchlight and Torch", was, as previously mentioned, in Port Said with the guy who become better known as Keeler (the late Keith Walsh).
Just looking at the album and song titles I was dreading some awful electro-ethnic crossover; which in effect this is,but; its all done in an inobvious way.Very western sounding electronics with a suggestion of a short wave radio broadcast from some fictional eastern country. I am relieved to say there are no ethic instruments involved, and thankfully, no tiresome Muslimgauze style soap box politiking; just six pleasant analogue instrumentals that don't hang around for too long.

Everything by Port Said is quality. Do you have the early solo works of Keeler and Tischler?

I would love to hear them all. "Out of Body" is 1988, so it might be deep into plasticky digital territory, but I'll give him benefit of the doubt. Thanks very much for you work!
