Just as 'Star Wars' isn't Science Fiction, it's Science Fantasy.Thee Ornetted Coleman album "Science Fiction",unlike like Star Wars, is a great work of art,and that's an indisputable Jazz Science fact.
There are many things that should rest in the Fiction section alongside The Bible, the Koran,Harry Potter and...maybe....Dr. Seuss? Although I could swear I saw the Green Pants running through a wooded area near my home one sober evening.
One body of work that could never be erroneously filed on the Fiction Shelf would be the ground evaporating canon of Ornette and his various axes....like...er...WOW! This kat can play!
The Science part does apply, however as this masterwork is a cunning combination of control and freedom,or controlled freedom to put it more succinctly.
1.What Reason Could I Give 3:01
2.Civilization Day 6:02
3.Street Woman 5:45
4.Science Fiction 5:05

6.All My Life 4:00
7.Law Years 5:29
8.The Jungle Is A Skyscraper 5:25

Thank you VERY much!
The history of the world is the biggest fable ever. To quote Voltaire, “What is history? The lie that everyone agrees on...”
Now is the perfect time with the covid-hoax to shut the whole rotten system down, since it is already nearly shut down to begin with. Everyone should just quit and collect unemployment and food stamps, under a general strike. If that happened this would end within days, since the government can't respond to that. So far, this has only continued because most people are going along with it. Most people are either being bluffed or have joined the fascists.
I haven't heard this in years. Many thanks.
Ahhh...sandie hook,I get it.....the one where everyone were played by crisis actors, and the dead kids who didn't exist....that one.
As far as i'm concerned the Illuminati can have their empire.I'd sooner be repressed by the professionals than a bunch of dissonant self-appointed revolutionaries.
JZ, check out the "Complete Science Fiction Sessions" (Yuutoobe), most of the best material did not end up on the original release (in my opinion). In the 80s Columbia released an LP with most of the rest of the sessions--not surprising, as the tracks are insanely good--but were they and/pr Coleman thinking?!
Utterly colemanic and entirely ornettified. Phantastik. Grazie.
