They sound like a sort of antipodean ,less funny, version of Danny and the Dressmakers, but more tooled up in the instrument department.
They later turned into a very competent garage rock combo......how boring.
But this tape is up there in the pantheon of chaotic bedroom rock recordings, competing with "200 Cancellations" as the most sprawling epic of DIY cassette rock.
The best tape I've heard from OZ.
Apparently this was Assembled from bits off 1,000 Cassettes! This makes the Homosexuals seem to have the production rate of Scott Walker!

Thank You! This is really cool
I agree.
Authors, Simon Knuckey, Tim Knuckey, Garry Bradbury - and the download is illegal.
It was also once 'illegal' to be Gay,or sit on a park bench if you were Jewish.
Providing a link to a third party file host is in fact not illegal.
many gay and Jewish folk are also musicians.... not sure why you have named them. point is musicians are being ripped off.
What are you doing on this site then Mr Self righteous soap boxer.
There are many Gay and Jewish music fans who have been ripped off also.
Also the vast majority of the 'musicians' featured here are more than pleased to have their music kept alive, where if they charged money for it, it would have been forgotten. Play live and you will get paid.....most of the time. The days of records as a way of making an easy living is dead, after the brief period it existed as a job.Market forces say,no money for recorded music.
No doubt you'll come back with some predictable and superior standard statement.
Hope you didn't hold your breath waiting for that tool's reply, Jonny. Gosh, i do love these back pages. So much to discover.
I didn't hold my breath...mainly because of a need to breathe.
These fools are easy meat.
Yeah, sometimes i enjoy looking back into the darkest annals of the blog. Its like it was all written by someone else.
