An essential compilation of the essential parts of the New Zealand underground, featuring all the usual suspects, Dead C, TKP, and the Jefferies brothers in various guises.Almost faultless.
1988, was a dodgy year for music in the UK, where MDMA had turned any decent group into tambourine shaking idiots.
Living in the arse end of the planet has its advantages sometimes,so no stripy tops, maraccas and idiot dancing on show on this tape.
By the way, the file is from the second edition, so its got more tracks on it.

well this is fantastic...though i am obliged to look at my records and see what was produced in 1988 (beside MBV "isn't anything" that i will carve out from the bunch of idiots...)
Naturally I am Generalizing....MBV are notable exceptions for Isn't anything and Loveless....anyone who don't like Loveless has a serious problem. But the rest.....i'm struggling to think of anyone....even Coil went club. I went to see The Telescopes twice in 1988, before and after ecstacy exposure.....before they were enormously paint strippingly good, after ,they had a funky drummer beat, maraccas, and bowl cuts, in breton tops.....people were dancing!...1989/90 are also included by the way.
I have a serious problem.
Tut Tut Tut!I'd go and get that seen to asap!
Well...Loveless is almost perfect except for those dodgy programmed drums, which need re-recording badly.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this. Saves me from having to dig it out and do it myself.
