Former Big City Orchestra collaborators on the "Massacre of the Innocents" album, also on Sound Of Pig; Deathranch (whoever they were?) had a life of their own.
Bordering on the Avant Garde at time, with hints of abstract composition, this release suggests that those hanging out at the deathranch were no ordinary noise cowboys.A constantly shifting melange of found sounds, porn movies, drones, strangled noise and some unexpected musicianship. A fascinatingly good addition to the vast SOP canon of weirdness.

this sounds fantastic from your writeup, so grabbing it straight away for some cosy Sunday insanity! thanks again.
Deathranch are Cliff Neighbors & Peter Leeming, two former members of Big City Orchestra. I'm looking for their obscure K7 "Onanathra" (1987).
Do you have it?
Thank you for your work.
Robert S.

Thanks to Robert S for enlightening us...ps...no "onanathra" sorry.
And yes, it is a great tape by the way, i agree.
Flaming Carrott is a really good song, others not so much
Thanks, thanks, thanks..
This is fantastic! Do you have any more Deathranch? Or similar tapes?

Yes, there's a Deathranch collaboration with the splendidly named 'Crawling With Tarts' coming up next. Not as good as this though.
