Die or D.I.Y.? RETURNS with more Music and Subversion for the Discerning Misanthrope! (cue sparce applause)

As some of you may know, Die or D.I.Y.? , after four years of dedicated unearthing of all things DIY, was arbitrarily and brutally suppressed from the information super highway of secret government surveillance, propaganda and lies.
This is undoubtedly an OUTRAGE that cannot go unpunished! The bank controlled puppets at the (said in girly voice) "DMCA" can look at themselves in a mirror and be proud that they've earned their bribe money well; way below the, in comparison, noble relationship between a Prostitute and Pimp. And lets face it, We Are All Prostitutes, so lets make a stand for freedom, stop paying taxes, withdraw your money from the banksters, and default on your debts. If we all did that the walls of this pointless Jericho would crumble in days.

Rant number one over, and time to get back to business until I get re-deleted, and I re-resurrect again as Die or DIY? 3.

I will be reposting all of the dead blog over the coming weeks, and adding a few new things. Logically, starting with Danny and the Dressmakers complete oeuvre, as they are probably the epitome of what I am trying to achieve here......do what you want and DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!!

  3. At last!! I've been scouring the web hoping that you weren't gone forever. What a shocker. Any idea what caused the robots to close the place down?? Wasn't that Residents demo tape was it?!? Great to find DoD2. Long may you lead us into new/old music. Thanks for being back.

  4. Glad to see you are back! The time and effort that you put into this blog is greatly appreciated; thanks for all the music.

  5. Hi Bill, glad to see you found me again too!
No, surprisingly not the Residents tape, even more surprisingly it was a Stray Trolleys Tape that had a version of a Beatles tune on it, then Clock DVA!
So, it probably was my allegations of institutionalized paedophilia in the rock industry, as made in my review of 'Baby Sex' that did it. A small coincidence I'm not sure. Bring on the Yewtree I say! Bastards!
    Any requests of old posts?

  6. Many Thanks Knifelust, spread the word.

  7. Requests? Hmmm... how about The Ridiculous Trio Plays The Stooges from 2004?? Would love it if you ever had a copy of that to share. :)

  8. awesome. I was so bummed out when I went to check on the blog and saw that ugly Google takedown page. Hypocrites. Glad to see you are pushing onward. The music needs to be free, to breathe, to live.

  10. It has become a way of the cross for bloggers. In the 80s, it was the free radio time and it became shit, it becomes the same for internet: robots, DMCA, hadopi, intelligence, research gain, commercialism rule the web... We just want to share free, maintaining a certain culture for all. This is the third time that I put online all the material, and it will start again and again. Your blog as a few ones is essential. So Thx a lot. courage.

  17. Glad to find you're back! I was getting really sad clicking my bookmark to the old blog and encountering that same take-down message each time. Suddenly 2014 seems less grim!

  18. Well, I'm glad to have you back too Adam. 2014 is the year we defeat the NSA and the US Govt cyber goon squad

  21. Hey is there any chance of Year Zero coming back too?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi, yeah, year zero is coming back next month,in a new revamped version. I am looking to raise some finances to have physical product available too this year. Purely Non-Profit of course. The first release is near, a vinyl single of The Bots "I'm Gay" single, which has had a few plays on US Radio. Order one here.

  23. Great, that one was a huge inspiration for me when that first came out (On YZR, I mean).
My unconscious response to 'I'm Gay' was this:

  24. Hi, it that you who made this beautiful flushing toilet of a tune? That has Year Zero stamped all over its arse! Is there any more of this sonic vomit?
    jz

  25. Yeah, I've been getting real serious with this. I have a couple of things that are pretty much ready, mostly loosely themed EPs. I have some other stuff on that soundcloud, but give me your email and I'll send over some that I'm still working on.
I'm getting my 'studio' set up again and will continue recording very soon.

  28. Google,is nothing more than a stealth operation for mass surveillance for our corporatist masters. Close it down! Along with Banks (nationalise 'em), secret sevices, parliaments, and nationalise all multinational corporations? Reclaim the streets.
